2014 Competition: Arial Assist
For the 2014 game, Aerial Assist, the main objective was to work with team members in order to move exercise balls down the field and launch them into goals. In the middle of the field there was a truss, which would get you more points if you launched the ball over it. For each robot who assisted in moving the ball your alliance received additional points.
Our main strategy was to be the first robot in the chain of three, we would get the ball from our human player, then launch it over the truss, which could be moved by the other robots on the alliance to net us a large amount of points. This is the strategy that got us to quarter finals at the Minnesota North Star Regional in 2014.
